First Nation people were trying to change this for decades though. Good for them! The way fans dress in “Americanized” Native American gear is a mockery of their culture and is wrong period. past can remembered it’s called reading. It’s not really history when people are washed out of it is it? Can you name the names of chiefs in these tribes the way you can name founders? then don’t get upset about taking down the likeness of traitors that started a war and killed so many of their fellow Americans just because they were pissed off that they were no longer going to be allowed to own and torture black people, from a place of honor. How long before they start screaming discrimination for them changing the name because it will be racist to them because it doesn’t show them the recognition they deserve!This is beyond stupid! Being offended by nearly everything is bad enough, but companies, sports teams, and governments giving in to these whiners is the real problem. The more these people are given in to, the more they want. These people are the few that make all the “poor me” sound like the majority. Just like the protesters, peaceful protest is what makes good changes, but the few who cause damage and or steal and or kill others are the ones we hear about, so now all protesters are painted with the same brush; just wrong. Some marchers were jostled, tripped, and violently attacked, while police on the parade route did little to help. By the end of the day, over 100 women had to be hospitalized for injuries. However, the women did not give up; they finished the parade. Their experiences led to major news stories and even congressional hearings. Historians later credited the 1913 parade for giving the suffrage movement a new wave of inspiration and purpose. So you want Black people to gather by the thousands on Pennsylvania ave right before the election? National guard would be called in quicker than a cut can bleed and black people would absolutely defend themselves from attackers as is their right.
