I wish. She is very health conscious so she knows I puree some veg into certain foods. She just won’t eat them straight out. My son will now try everything (and promptly act like I tried to poison him). My kid is odd. He asks for veggies often. Never had a 7 year old ask for salad. One time I had asparagus with lunch at work and he was PISSED I had asparagus without him. my daughter doesn’t like cake or ice cream…unless its a birthday party. They also dont eat tacos or red meat, hot dogs, mac n cheese or lunch meat. You know, the stuff that makes life easy on a long day! Chicken, pork, cheese, yogurt, fruit, pasta are our staples. My son won’t even eat bacon. I mean, its serious. Good luck with the interview. Remember to sell yourself in that interview and be positive, focus on what you CAN bring instead of what you feel you can’t. Sounds like you can work under pressure, you are great at multitasking, and I can tell by your writing here that you have attention to detail and great critical thinking skills. Always ask for more that you expect, negotiate down. Wear something that makes you feel amazing- let them know you are amazing and – Go get em! And as someone who has interviewed a lot of people – when asked if you know how to XYZ— if you don’t – be honest, and say you are eager to learn! You can follow up by saying you have a similar or relatable skill, or point out something you feel you can bring to the table too.
Your personality and drive to do good will go a long way – there are super qualified people who seem bored the moment they walk in…don’t underestimate a strong handshake and smile- and being yourself!
