He sounds like a great senator. I’d take him in Alabama any day. Looking forward to my kids going to school as normally as possible. My severely autistic child needs school but will never keep a mask on. I hope my typical teen is not required to wear a mask for 6-8 hours every day! Believe this is the same senator who tested negative on Wednesday from reading earlier news today. The General Assembly has always had clergy of the day, volunteer visiting doctor of the day and nurse availability. .referencing people or $$? One of the many hats I wore during my time on Senate side was scheduling those persons, each from one our counties through out the state. It was considered an honor to be requested nor was there monetary expenditure. House side has the daily rotation,too. I am willing to believe that he actually does have a condition from his service. My nephew has issues putting a mask on his face from his service. It’s too bad the other 25 people in the room didn’t wear masks and I hope and pray they do not catch it. I feel like if they want schools to open they need to bring themselves to Raleigh and actually meet using the same 3 precautions they are asking students. “There’s no question children will catch the virus”??? That statement just takes my breath away…essentially he is saying they are going to get it, but send them anyway…guess we really are expendable…Berger needs to GO!
