I have not one, but TWO kids who are type 1 diabetic and the cost of insulin is absurd. When they become adults I always fear they’ll never be able to afford the insulin they depend on everyday. That is great! There are two drugs that my doctor said I need and my insurance Blue Cross Blue Shield will not pay for them. What can you do about that? Why do the insurance companies have the right to Say I don’t need the drugs that my doctor said I need. This is great news!! Now when I go to work patients won’t have to choose between paying their bills and getting life saving medicine! It’s going to make a huge difference in Pharmacy! Thank you, my fiancée is type 1 diabetic and is 62 and has been since he was 8 years old ! The insulin prices are just ridiculous, I never know what they’re going to be each month ! The pharmacy techs always say , do you realize how much the Co pay is with a look of shock on their faces And, while you are at it, would you PLEASE eliminate that Obama-era CMS Late Enrollment Penalty I must pay every month on my medicare prescription coverage??? That is an outrage. I did not sign up immediately for this “coverage” because I was on only one pill and it cost pennies compared to the prescription “coverage” plan so I opted not to take it. Six months later I found out I was obligated to take the coverage AND pay this penalty FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE. No. Not right. Please remove this penalty! I’m a senior living on social security, the penalty is not right. Thank you. thank you so very much. I went to get my medication the other night, one oral diabetic medication, other four medications to take helping my diabetes, and an insulin pen, and they were are $0, and I didn’t understand why as it is usually expensive, so I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
