Hey Amos! Praying for the safety and good reasoning of all parties. We have been getting all of our spring breaker shenanigans out of our system while we plant garden, socially distanced on the farm and saving on TP. Well, at least for all those under 5 (which is the majority of our household) when it’s over 50 degrees clothes are optional. Yes, they already closed schools here in IL and no graduations for my 8th grader and Senior in HS. Many tears here last week. We just had shelter in place extended until June. Ugh. Stay safe! I just have to say that some days you provide me the best laughs with you no nonsense in your face take on things! Thanks for helping us realize we are all in this together and we need to find humor where we can! My biggest concern is will universities be forced to do online this fall. My son will be a junior. We will roll with it, but it just won’t be good for him. He doesn’t learn well that way. Not to mention he’s got an apartment lease starting in August. No way I’m paying for him to live in a costly apartment by campus if it’s online classes (we live 40 min from school so commuting was not the plan for this coming year due to our car situation). I know it’s wise to be cautious but this does concern me. But at the end of the day, I’m thankful we are safe and sound and happy to help the vulnerable by complying. Praying we see major improvements so these phases are swift. Both UNC and NC State have very recently announced they will do everything they can to have students back on campus this fall. Let’s give our college kids some hope. They will never, ever get this time in their lives back.
